3L and PE explained

What is 3L?
3L is the 3-layer construction achieved when the mold is opened during the roto-molding process for additional materials to be added. The result is a thicker skin made from a tough outer polyethylene layer, a mid-section adding stiffness and flotation, and an inner skin layer. The overall result is a stiffer and lighter weight kayak with intrinsic flotation.

What is PE?
PE is an abbreviation for polyethylene, the material used for roto-molding the Whisky16 3L.

So Point65 Whisky16 PE 3L is polyethylene (PE) molded in 3-layers (3L)
It's a startlingly reactive performance kayak with quick take-off on the wave and great glide.
