The Whisky16 3L sets the standard for fun kayaking!
While Whisky16 composite offered outstanding control and fun in conditions, the Whisky 16 3L adds the robust durability and peace of mind of tough 3-Layer roto-molded plastic.
3L and PE explained
What is 3L? 3L is the 3-layer construction
achieved when the mold is opened during the roto-molding process for
additional materials to be added. The result is a thicker skin made from a
tough outer polyethylene layer, a mid-section adding stiffness and flotation, and an
inner skin layer. The overall result is a stiffer and lighter weight
kayak with intrinsic flotation. What is PE? PE is
an abbreviation for polyethylene, the material used for roto-molding the
Whisky16 3L.
So Point65 Whisky16 PE 3L is polyethylene (PE) molded in 3-layers (3L) It's a startlingly reactive performance kayak with quick take-off on the wave and great glide. Easy stability and edge control Delightful and reassuringly predictable in conditions.
